Sewage, litter and offshore developments are destroying British coast lines and the wave breaks surfers love so much. We launched the ‘Protect Our Waves’ petition to gain the 100,000 signatures needed for parliament to consider new legislation, and a thought provoking outdoor campaign to raise awareness of it – that went on to become the runner up at the World Photography Awards.
‘Seriously awesome’
– Magic Seaweed
The petition lived on a dedicated microsite, alongside latest news, information on upcoming fundraising activity, and merchandise that contributed to the cause. There was also a documentary created in partnership with ‘Dazed’ magazine, outlining in more detail what the issues Surfers Against Sewage were rallying against through the ‘Protect Our Waves’ petition.
